Store policies change. This is a summary in our own words of Apple's US Veterans and Military Purchase Program page, read on October 26, 2026, with two related Apple pages. The official pages are the ones that apply.

Yes, Apple has a military discount

Apple runs a Veterans and Military Purchase Program. It takes 10% off Apple products and accessories bought through a special online storefront. It is not a coupon code and it is not applied at a regular checkout: you shop inside the program's own store after Apple confirms your status.

Who qualifies

GroupEligible?
Current members of the US MilitaryYes
Veterans of the US MilitaryYes
National Guard and Reserve, current and veteranYes
Immediate family living in the same householdYes

The page names no other groups, such as first responders or family members who live elsewhere.

How to get it

  1. Open the Veterans and Military Purchase Program page on apple.com (it is linked in the site footer under For Government).
  2. Choose Verify with ID.me. You can use an ID.me account you already have or create one during the process.
  3. Once ID.me confirms you, shop the program storefront.

If you get stuck, Apple offers chat from the same page or help at 1-800-MY-APPLE.

What the discount leaves out

  • ZEISS Optical Inserts with a prescription are excluded from Apple's discount programs.
  • Apple Card Monthly Installments cannot be used in this storefront. Apple's Monthly Installments page also lists the Veterans and Military program among the special stores where installments are not offered.
  • Apple Upgrade leasing is not a payment option for this offer either.

So you choose between the two: pay in full at the 10% military price, or buy at the regular Apple Store online or in a shop, where 0% installments are possible but the military pricing does not apply. Apple says this directly on the program page.

Stacking with other savings

Apple's program page does not say the 10% combines with other Apple offers, so do not count on stacking it. A few other routes are worth checking on their own terms:

  • Education pricing: if someone in the household is a college student, a parent buying for one, or a teacher, Apple's education store has its own prices. Its terms cap purchases, for example one MacBook and two iPads per year, and unlike the military store it allows Apple Card Monthly Installments.
  • Certified Refurbished and Apple Trade In are separate programs with their own rules.

Returns

Apple's Returns and Refunds page sets a 14-day return window from the day you receive an item bought from Apple, in original condition with all its parts. Check the program store's own terms at checkout, since special stores can differ. Our Apple return policy guide covers the standard rules.
