On this page
Bass Pro Shops offers a military appreciation discount to members of the armed forces and their families. The store's own military page sets the rates below. This is a summary in our own words, read on October 26, 2026. Bass Pro's page is the one that applies, so check it before you buy.
The discount rates
| Items | Discount |
|---|---|
| Ammunition and firearms | 5% off |
| All other items | 10% off |
The store says the discount applies to eligible items and is subtracted from the cart's subtotal. Exclusions apply. The military page does not list them, so the cart is the best place to see which items are left out.
Who it is for
The page says the discount is for members of the armed forces and their families. It does not say which branches, ranks or family relationships count, and it does not say what proof is needed. If that matters for a large purchase, ask Bass Pro's customer service before you order.
What the page does not say
- Whether the military discount combines with CLUB Card offers, sale prices or coupons.
- Which items are excluded.
- How military status is confirmed, online or in store.
- Whether the same rates apply at every store location.
The page we read does not answer these questions. Customer service can.
How to check your total
- Put the items in your cart and open the cart before you pay.
- Look for the discount line that comes off the subtotal.
- Compare the subtotal with and without the discount to see what the discount takes off.
- If an item you expected to be eligible does not get the discount, call Bass Pro at 1-800-227-7776, the number printed on the store's help pages.
Where to find the page
The military page sits under Help on Bass Pro's site, listed as Military Discount, next to Order Status, Returns and Shipping Information. The discount page does not cover returns or shipping charges. If you expect to return an item, read the Returns page before you order.
How we count
The 5% and 10% rates come from Bass Pro's military page. We did not calculate any dollar savings, and we did not compare Bass Pro's prices with other stores. Any dollar figure you see in a cart comes from the store's own system, not from this article.
