Stores With a Military Discount, Side by Side
Apple, Microsoft Store and Nike each list a 10% military discount, and Samsung runs a Military Offer Program; who qualifies and how to verify differs by store.
On this page

Store policies change. This is a summary in our own words of each store's official military discount page, read on October 26, 2026. The store's own page is the one that applies; check it before you buy.
The short list
| Store | Discount on its page | Who qualifies | How you verify |
|---|---|---|---|
| Apple | 10% | Current and veteran members of the US Military, National Guard and Reserve, plus immediate family in the same household | ID.me |
| Microsoft Store | Up to 10% on select products | Active duty, veterans, retired, Reserve and National Guard members and their families | Steps not spelled out on the page we read |
| Nike | 10% on most items | Active, reservist, veteran and retired US military, plus spouses and dependents of active personnel | SheerID online; military ID in US Nike stores |
| Samsung | Varies by product | Active members with a .mil email; active, veteran and retired personnel through ID.me, GovX or WeSalute | .mil email or ID.me after creating a Samsung Account |
Apple
Apple runs a separate online storefront for veterans and military. After you confirm your status with ID.me, you see the 10% pricing there. Apple notes that purchases at Apple Store locations or the regular Apple Online Store do not get this pricing, and that Apple Card Monthly Installments and Apple Upgrade are not available for the offer. Our Apple military discount guide covers it in more detail.
Microsoft Store
Microsoft's military page offers up to 10% off select products and services, with Surface devices, laptops and tablets named among them. The page frames it as a thank you to people who serve or have served in the US armed forces and their families.
Nike
Nike gives 10% off most items on Nike.com, in the Nike App and in US Nike stores. Online, you verify through SheerID and get a single-use code. Nike's rules worth knowing:
- The code expires two weeks after it is issued, and you can request a new one every seven days.
- It covers only the first $500 of a purchase.
- It combines only with free shipping codes.
- It does not work at Nike Company Stores or on Swoosh.com, and excludes Nike By You, gift cards, some SNKRS launches and Apple products.
Samsung
Samsung's Military Offer Program shows member pricing on Samsung.com, and the size of the saving changes from product to product. On October 26, 2026, the page showed extra percentage offers of 5%, 10% or 15% on different devices. Samsung limits program pricing to two products per product category within a year per email or shipping address, with a higher limit of 4 for home appliance and mobile accessories. Program prices cannot be combined with other offers and apply only on Samsung.com.
Tips before you buy
- Verify once, early. ID.me and SheerID checks can ask for documents, so do it before a sale ends.
- Read the exclusions. Every store above leaves something out, such as gift cards or certain launches.
- Compare with a sale price. A store sale can beat a 10% discount, and Nike and Samsung both limit stacking with other offers.
- Check family rules. Apple includes household family members; Nike covers spouses and dependents of active personnel only.
