Sam's Club Plus vs Club Membership, Explained
Sam's Club sells two memberships, Club at $60 a year and Plus at $120 a year, and Plus now bundles Walmart+ with extra Sam's Club perks.

What the two memberships cost

Sam's Club now sells Plus as two memberships for one price: a Sam's Club Plus membership together with Walmart+. On the same page, Sam's Club estimates that members who hold both save over $700 a year. The fine print says that figure is an average for members of both programs for a year or more, compared with non-member or Club pricing and fees, so treat it as the store's own estimate, not a guarantee.
What both levels include
The comparison table on the join page lists these for Club and Plus alike:

What only Plus adds
On the Sam's Club side, Plus adds:
- Up to 2% back in Sam's Cash
- Free delivery and shipping on Sam's Club orders
- Early shopping hours and early online access to deals
- Free pharmacy delivery and pharmacy savings
- Savings on optical and hearing, auto and tire service at Sam's Garage, and pet prescriptions
On the Walmart+ side, the bundle lists free delivery at Walmart, gas savings of up to 10 cents a gallon, benefit sharing, a video streaming choice, free online pet care, up to 10% in Walmart Cash on travel, a 5% cash back credit card, Burger King savings and in-store perks.
Is Plus worth it?
The step from Club to Plus costs $60 a year. A few ways to think about it:
- Sam's Cash alone. If every dollar earned the full 2%, you would need $3,000 of spending in a year to earn back $60. The page says "up to", so real earnings can be lower.
- Delivery. If you order from Sam's Club or Walmart for delivery often, the free delivery on both sides may matter more than the cash back.
- Walmart+ already. If you pay for Walmart+ on its own today, the Plus bundle replaces that separate fee.
- Pharmacy, optical and auto. These savings are Plus only, so they count only if you use those departments.
If you mostly shop in the club, pay at the register and rarely order delivery, Club covers the core of membership: the prices, Instant Savings and fuel prices.
Before you join
The page shows each benefit as included or not included, but the details and limits sit in the program terms that Sam's Club links from the same page. Read those terms for any perk you are counting on, because offers such as the gift card, travel cash and partner savings can change.
