Sam's Club Tire and Battery Center, Explained
Sam's Club tire installation adds flat repair, rotation, balancing, road hazard protection and roadside help; Plus members get free installation on four tires.

What the center does
A Sam's Club Tire and Battery Center (the page also uses the names Sam's Garage and Auto and Tire Center) installs tires and car batteries for members. Not every club has one: the offers on the tire page apply only at clubs with a center. You can buy tires online and have them sent to your club, or buy at the club, and you can book a battery installation or tire rotation online.
Sam's Club sells passenger car and light truck tires from major brands, and lists trailer, ATV and UTV, golf cart, lawn and garden, and RV tires among its specialty sizes.

Road hazard protection covers damage from things like cuts, punctures and impact breaks in normal driving. A longer text section on the same page ties the free lifetime services to the Premium Tire Installation Package and describes roadside help as up to four years, so ask your club which terms apply to your purchase.
The Plus installation offer
Sam's Club says Plus members get free installation, which it values at $80, when they buy a set of four passenger or light truck tires. It can be combined with the brand savings on the page but with no other offer, and there are no rain checks. That longer text section still describes a 50% installation discount for Plus members, so check the price at the register.
The page also lists instant savings on sets of four from Goodyear and Pirelli ($100 off) and from Michelin, BFGoodrich, Bridgestone and Firestone ($80 off), at select clubs with a center. The Goodyear, Pirelli, Bridgestone and BFGoodrich offers are dated through December 31, 2026. Order online, mention the offer when you pay at the club, and the savings come off at the register.
Battery services
The page promotes free battery testing and charging and free car battery installation, with up to 3 years of warranty. Both claims carry footnotes, so ask the center which batteries and conditions they cover.
