Discount Tire Price Match Policy, Explained
Discount Tire says it will match or beat a lower advertised installed price on an identical tire or wheel from an authorized seller, online or in store.

Does Discount Tire price match?
Yes. Discount Tire calls its policy the Low Price Promise. The company says it will match or beat a competitor's price on the same tire or wheel, and that it will not be undersold. The promise covers the tires and wheels it carries.
What the lower price has to be

The installation rule matters most. A tire that looks cheaper on a website may cost more once you add shipping and a separate mounting fee at a local shop. Discount Tire says it compares against the competitor's installed price, and that some online sellers only show the full total inside the shopping cart, so add those costs before you compare.
How to ask for a match
Discount Tire gives two ways:
- Online. On each product listing there is a blue "Found it Lower?" tool under the tire's unit price. Click it, enter your contact details and a link to the lower price. Discount Tire says it will reply with an offer within one business day, Monday through Friday.
- In a store. Bring the competitor's ad to your local Discount Tire store, and staff will work with you on the price.
Have the exact tire size, model and load and speed details ready, since the match only works on an identical product.
What the Discount Tire price includes
Part of the comparison is what you get for the price. Discount Tire says its out-the-door price includes:
- Installation at one of its stores for each tire it fits on your vehicle
- Free prorated road hazard coverage, which gives credit toward new tires based on remaining tread if a normal road hazard ruins a tire
- Free lifetime rotation and balancing on tires bought there
- Required fees and taxes, including state sales tax and, in some states, an environmental fee
If you leave your old tires behind, Discount Tire adds a disposal fee. It also sells an optional Certificate for Repair, Refund, or Replacement for extra coverage.
Price errors
Discount Tire says that if a listed price looks like an obvious mistake, it may stop selling that item until the price is corrected.
Tips before you ask
- Compare installed prices, not tire-only prices.
- Check that the competitor is an authorized dealer for that brand.
- Use a live ad or listing, since the page asks for a current advertised price.
- For online orders, use the "Found it Lower?" tool rather than calling, so the link travels with your request.
