Store hours change. This is a summary in our own words of Hobby Lobby's own pages, read on October 26, 2026. Your local store's page in the Store Finder is the one that applies; check it before you go.
Regular hours
Hobby Lobby's Our Story page gives one schedule for its stores: Monday through Saturday, 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, and closed on Sunday at every store. The same page says the chain has more than 1,000 stores in 48 states.
| Day | Hours |
|---|---|
| Monday to Friday | 9:00 am to 8:00 pm |
| Saturday | 9:00 am to 8:00 pm |
| Sunday | Closed |
So a Hobby Lobby opens at 9:00 am and closes at 8:00 pm on any day it is open. There are no early-morning or late-night hours in the regular schedule.
How we checked
We read the store pages of three locations in the Store Finder on October 26, 2026: Wichita West in Kansas, Las Vegas Rainbow Promenade in Nevada and Bay Shore in New York. All three listed 9:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday through Saturday and closed on Sunday. That matches the company schedule, but three stores are not every store, so check yours.
Why Hobby Lobby is closed on Sundays
Hobby Lobby says it closes on Sundays so employees and customers have time for worship and family. It describes the choice as a matter of principle for its owners and accepts that it may cost the company sales. You can still shop on hobbylobby.com on a Sunday.
Hours today and on holidays
For today's hours at one store, open its page in the Store Finder at hobbylobby.com. Hobby Lobby's FAQ says the Store Finder is also where each store shows its holiday hours.
When we checked on October 26, 2026, the newest holiday hours post on the Hobby Lobby newsroom covered 2025, not 2026. For reference only, the 2025 post listed:
| 2025 holiday | Hours |
|---|---|
| Thanksgiving Day | Closed |
| Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving | 8 am to 9 pm |
| Christmas Eve | 9 am to 5:30 pm |
| Christmas Day | Closed |
| New Year's Eve | 9 am to 5:30 pm |
| New Year's Day | 9 am to 5:30 pm |
The 2026 hours may differ. Wait for the store's own 2026 posting.
