Best Buy Shipping and Delivery, Explained
Best Buy ships free on orders of $35 and up, waives the minimum for members, and books scheduled delivery for appliances and TVs 51 inches and up.

The free shipping minimum
Best Buy offers free standard shipping on qualifying orders of $35 and up. It counts the total after coupons and before tax, and leaves out select digital downloads, e-gift cards, special orders, scheduled delivery items and anything canceled from the order.
The $35 minimum does not apply to My Best Buy, My Best Buy Plus or My Best Buy Total members. Products from Marketplace sellers never qualify for free shipping, whatever the order size or membership.
How fast it ships

Best Buy does not give one fixed shipping time. It says each estimate depends on the item, your ZIP code and the time you order, and some products need extra processing days. FedEx is its main carrier, with USPS, OnTrac, DoorDash, Roadie and Better Trucks in some areas. Some products cannot go to a PO box.
Scheduled delivery for appliances and big TVs
Major appliances, TVs of 51 inches and up and furniture come by scheduled delivery from Best Buy or a partner. You get an appointment window, and an adult with a government photo ID must be home for the whole window (19 or older in Alabama and Nebraska, 21 in Puerto Rico). These deliveries cannot go to PO boxes or APO and FPO addresses.
- TVs 51 inches and up: delivery is free, except for outlet, open-box, clearance and Marketplace TVs. The team brings the TV to the room you choose (up to three floors, or with a working elevator) but leaves it in its box.
- TVs 50 inches and under: ship free, except items marked In Store Only.
- Major appliances: Best Buy lists delivery only at $39.99 per appliance, which includes unboxing, an inspection and removal of the packaging. Installation is extra for most appliances; see our installation guide.
- Haul-away: $49.99 to take an old TV or appliance away when Best Buy delivers the replacement. A stand-alone TV haul-away, for store pickup orders, is $99 by phone.
Special-order items work differently: an agent calls within 2 to 7 business days to set a date, and the item goes only as far as the entryway or garage.
If a package goes missing
Best Buy says you may get a replacement if you report a missing item within your return period. For same-day orders, it suggests checking the tracking link first, then calling 1-888-BEST BUY (1-888-237-8289) with the order number.
