Kohl's Senior Discount Day, Explained
Kohl's gives shoppers 60 and older 15% off in-store purchases on Wednesdays, guides report; it works with Kohl's Cash but not other percent-off coupons.

Kohl's senior discount day
Kohl's senior discount day is Wednesday. The Senior List, a 2026 FinanceBuzz article republished by AOL, and Coupons.com all describe the same offer:

FinanceBuzz, in its March 2026 article, says the 15% applies to regular-priced items. Coupons.com says to bring identification, and FinanceBuzz says the ID is used to verify your age.
Stacking with coupons and Kohl's Cash
The senior discount is a percent-off discount, and Kohl's does not allow two percent-off discounts on one purchase. Kohl's coupon terms, reposted by Slickdeals for an October 2026 event, say a percent-off coupon cannot be used together with other percent-off coupons, age-specific discounts included. So on a Wednesday you choose between the senior 15% and any larger percent-off coupon you hold.
Dollar-off offers are different. Coupons.com says the senior discount works with Kohl's Cash, and the same coupon terms put dollar-off coupons and Kohl's Cash ahead of percent-off discounts. Hand over Kohl's Cash first, and the 15% then comes off the rest. The Kohl's coupon policy explains the order in full.

What the discount does not cover
The Senior List lists the items left out: gift cards, Kohl's Cares and other charitable items, Sephora at Kohl's, and anything marked ineligible in store or online. Those match the exclusions in Kohl's general coupon terms. Kohl's posts the list of ineligible brands, so check it before a big purchase.
Getting the most from Wednesday
- Shop in a store on a Wednesday and bring an ID that shows your age.
- If you have a percent-off coupon larger than 15%, use that instead; the two do not combine.
- Use Kohl's Cash on the same trip, since it stacks with the senior discount.
- Ask the cashier for the discount before you pay.
