Lowe's Military Discount, How It Works
Lowe's gives verified service members, veterans and their spouses 10% off most full-price items, in stores and online, after a one-time ID.me check.

Store policies change. This is a summary in our own words of Lowe's Everyday Military Discount page, read on October 26, 2026. The official page is the one that applies; check it before you shop.
Does Lowe's have a military discount?
Yes. Lowe's calls it the Everyday Military Discount: 10% off most full-price items, in Lowe's stores and on Lowes.com. Lowe's says there is no yearly cap on how much a verified member can save on eligible purchases.
Who qualifies
Current members and veterans of these services can enroll:
- US Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard and Space Force
- National Guard
- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)
- US Public Health Service Commissioned Corps (USPHS)
Spouses of enrolled service members qualify too, but each spouse needs a separate MyLowe's Rewards account and their own verification. A service member and a spouse cannot share one account. Veterans with a dishonorable discharge are not eligible.
How to sign up
- Go to Lowes.com/military/validation.
- Sign in to a personal Lowe's account, or create one.
- Follow the steps to verify your status through ID.me, the third-party service Lowe's uses.
Verification is done once. To confirm it worked, open your MyLowe's profile, where a Military Discount section should show your status as verified.
Using the discount

Lowe's accepts a driver's license, a state or federal ID card, a Department of Defense ID card, or a passport or passport card at the register. The ID check is there to make sure the discount is used by the verified member or spouse.
Verified members are also moved up to Silver status in MyLowe's Rewards.
What the discount does not cover
The discount is for full-price items only. It does not stack with any other offer, and Lowe's names these exclusions:
- Sale items and other discounts, including the Lowest Price Guarantee, the 5% off every day credit card discount, volume or special pricing, and manager price adjustments
- Major appliances, with their accessories and parts
- Commodities such as electrical cable and wire, dimensional lumber, plywood and OSB
- Gift cards and previous purchases
- Fees, installation (alone or in a bundle), and services such as rentals, labor, delivery, shipping and protection plans
Lowe's adds that other exclusions may apply, that the discount is for personal use only and cannot be transferred, and that it can change or end the program at any time.
Quick tips
- Verify before your shopping trip, so the discount is ready at the register.
- If a full-price item is also on sale, you get the sale price, not both.
- For a big appliance purchase, the military discount will not help; look at Lowe's sale events instead.
