Kohl's own shipping help page could not be read for this article: kohls.com returned an access denied page to every request on October 26, 2026. The figures below are as reported by the deal and tracking sites in the sources list, which agree with each other on the main points. Shipping offers change, especially during promotions, so check the total in your Kohl's cart before you pay.

The free shipping minimum

Kohl's ships standard orders free once the order reaches 49 dollars. GrabOn's April 2026 guide, Coupons.com and DealNews's current Kohl's listings all state the 49 dollar line, and Slickdeals repeated it on a 2025 deal post. Under that amount, standard shipping costs 8.95 dollars, according to GrabOn and a current DealNews listing.

Coupons.com adds a trap worth knowing: a promo code lowers the total, and that can push an order back under 49 dollars and bring the shipping fee back. Check the final total after discounts.

How long Kohl's shipping takes

The sources give a slightly different range for standard ground delivery to the continental US: GrabOn lists 3 to 6 business days, and OrderTracker lists 3 to 8 business days, using UPS, FedEx or USPS. Plan on about a week, and read the estimate Kohl's shows at checkout for your address.

Faster options exist. Both GrabOn and OrderTracker list two-day shipping and next-day shipping for eligible items in the contiguous United States, for an added fee, and not every item qualifies.

Addresses with longer delivery

Orders going to Alaska, Hawaii, PO boxes and APO/FPO military addresses ship by standard ground only, with no expedited choice, and take 10 to 15 business days, as both GrabOn and OrderTracker report. OrderTracker also notes that pressurized or regulated items such as hairspray and nail polish cannot ship to those addresses, because the packages travel by air.

Large and bulky items

Furniture and other items too big for a parcel carrier go by a freight carrier. GrabOn and OrderTracker both put that delivery at 7 to 14 business days, and GrabOn says a surcharge is added at checkout. OrderTracker says the carrier usually calls to set a delivery appointment.

Ways to skip the shipping fee

  • Reach 49 dollars. Combine items in one order to cross the line.
  • Ship to Store. Coupons.com and GrabOn both describe it as free with no minimum.
  • Store pickup. Order online and collect in a store; our Kohl's order pickup guide covers how long Kohl's holds an order.

Shipping charges are not refunded when you send an item back, so pickup can be the cheaper choice for something you may return. The Kohl's return policy has the details.
