Sam's Club Shipping and Delivery, Explained
Sam's Club Plus gets free same-day delivery on eligible orders of $50 or more and free shipping on eligible orders over $50; Club members pay $12 per delivery.

Store services change. This is a summary in our own words of the Sam's Club Same-Day Delivery page, its membership page and the shipping line on its product pages, read on October 27, 2026. The official pages and the Sam's Club Terms and Conditions are the ones that apply. The Sam's Club help center, where the full shipping FAQ sits, could not be read that day, so check fees in your cart before you order.
Two different services
Sam's Club uses two words that mean different things:
- Delivery means delivery from your local club, usually the same day.
- Shipping means an order shipped to your address instead of coming from the club.
Each product page shows whether an item is available for pickup, delivery, shipping or a mix.
Same-day delivery from the club

Sam's Club offers the service within 15 miles of participating clubs. Order by 1 p.m. local time for same-day service, though Sam's Club says same-day is not guaranteed and can change with availability, weather, labor issues or other factors. Delivery is not available in Puerto Rico.
You can edit a delivery order up to 3 hours before the delivery time: add or remove products, or give new delivery instructions.
Faster windows cost extra

Neither has a minimum order size. Both depend on product eligibility, stock, open time slots, club hours and your address. Sam's Club says alcohol can be delivered in as fast as an hour with 1-Hour Express where it is offered.
What cannot be delivered
The delivery terms exclude, among others, gift cards, tires, flowers, prescriptions, Café items, mobile phones, alcohol and tobacco products. The same page also promotes alcohol delivery through 1-Hour Express, so what your club can bring varies; check in the app.
Shipping to your home
The join page lists Free Delivery and Shipping at Sam's Club as a Plus benefit and not included with Club. On product pages that can ship, Sam's Club shows shipping as free for Plus on eligible orders over $50. The pages read did not state a shipping rate for Club members or for smaller Plus orders; the cost shows in your cart.
Plus or Club for delivery?
Plus costs $120 a year and Club $60 a year, so the step up is $60. At the Club delivery fee of $12, five deliveries a year cost $60. If you order delivery more often than that, and your orders reach $50, Plus can pay for itself on delivery fees alone. Pickup is free for both levels, which is the cheaper choice if you can drive to the club.
