Store programs change. This is a summary in our own words of Samsung's Education Offer Program page and its FAQ, read on October 26, 2026. The official page is the one that applies; check it before you buy.
What the program is
Samsung runs its student discount as the Education Offer Program, part of the wider Samsung Offer Program. It is a members-only area of samsung.com: after you verify, you see special prices on phones, tablets, laptops, watches, TVs, monitors, appliances and more. The page names three audiences: students, career seekers, and teachers and educators.
Samsung says savings go up to 30% off and can be combined with its public and seasonal offers. That figure is a ceiling; the discount depends on the product and the offers running that day.
Who qualifies and how to verify
| Way to verify | How it works |
|---|---|
| School email | Current students, teachers and faculty with an email address ending in .edu create a Samsung Account with that address. |
| ID.me | Create a Samsung Account first, then verify through ID.me with valid documents. |
| Student benefit services | Students can also verify through StudentBeans or UNiDAYS. |
Samsung may ask for more proof of eligibility at checkout, and a Samsung.com sign-in is required to buy.
The same Offer Program also covers people who qualify through an employer, government workers, military members and veterans, and first responders and healthcare workers, each with their own verification route.
Purchase limits
The FAQ sets a limit of two products per product category, per email address or shipping address, within any 12-month period. Two categories get a higher limit of four: home appliance accessories and mobile accessories. Anything over the limit is charged without the program savings. The fine print on the same page describes the period as a calendar year, so check the terms if you are close to the limit.
Rules worth knowing
- The program price is applied after any trade-in credit and instant rebate.
- The prices are only on samsung.com. They are not offered in retail stores or on other websites.
- Asking another retailer to match a program price, or sharing the pricing with people who are not eligible, can get you removed from the program.
- The prices are for a limited time, and Samsung can change the prices and terms without notice.
What else members get
Samsung says members keep the normal samsung.com benefits: earning Samsung Rewards, buying online and picking up in store, fast shipping, special financing and expert support.
How to use it
- Open the Education Offer Program page on samsung.com.
- Verify with your school email or with ID.me.
- Shop while signed in, so the member prices show in your cart.
- Track how many products you buy in each category, so you stay within the limit.
