Walmart+ Benefits and Cost, Explained
Walmart+ costs $98 a year and bundles free delivery on eligible orders, gas savings, a streaming service, in-store perks and early access to deals events.

What Walmart+ is and what it costs
Walmart+ is Walmart's paid membership. Walmart's September 2026 announcement gives the price as $98 a year and says new benefits were added without raising it. Walmart also names two other plans, Walmart+ Student and Walmart+ Assist, but the announcements we read do not list their prices, and we did not find a monthly price in them either.

Walmart also lists free pharmacy delivery, free online pet care, Burger King savings and Walmart Cash through an approved OnePay Cash Rewards card.
The details that matter
- Gas: participating stations include Walmart, Exxon, Mobil, Murphy and, since September 2026, CITGO. Sam's Club fuel gives members member prices.
- Streaming: you can switch between Peacock and Paramount+ every 90 days. Separate registration is required.
- Photo prints: order 4x6 prints in the Photo Center and scan the barcode from the Walmart+ benefits page in the app before you pay.
- Money services: check cashing, money orders, money transfers, bill payments and eCash loading qualify, once per quarter.
- Tires: the flat repair is free when the tire can be repaired, a $15 value by Walmart's count. The road hazard warranty comes with new tires bought with the Value package installation.
- Travel: up to 10% Walmart Cash on eligible hotels, car rentals and activities, and 2% on flights.
- Burger King: 25% off one eligible digital order a day and a free Whopper with a qualifying purchase once a quarter, in the BK app with a Royal Perks account.
- Early access: in the June 2026 Walmart Deals event, members got the first 24 hours on a set of hot deal drops. Walmart says $1 trial members and free trial Walmart+ Student and Walmart+ Assist members do not get event early access.
Is Walmart+ worth it?
It depends on the benefits you would use anyway. Two Walmart figures help:
- Members who used Gas Savings at least once a week saved $109 a year on average, by Walmart's estimate for March 2025 to March 2026. That alone is more than the $98 fee.
- Walmart says two deliveries a month cover the membership fee, based on members who have had Walmart+ for at least a year.
If you rarely order delivery, skip participating gas stations and already stream elsewhere, the math is weaker.
