Store plans change. This is a summary in our own words of what Best Buy's own pages said about its sales on October 26, 2026. Best Buy does not publish a full yearly sales calendar on the pages we read, so this article sticks to the dates and events it does name, and leaves out the rest.

Black Friday 2026
Best Buy's Black Friday page looks back on its 2025 sale and tells shoppers to mark November 27 for the Black Friday 2026 Sale. That is the Friday after Thanksgiving, which falls on November 26 this year. The page names Doorbusters as part of its Thanksgiving and Black Friday sales. Best Buy had not posted the 2026 deal list or a start time on that page when we read it, so check back closer to the date.
One thing to know before you shop that week: Best Buy's Price Match Guarantee does not match competitor prices from the Thursday before Thanksgiving through the Monday after. Its own lower prices still count for a price adjustment within your return window.
Deals that run all year
- Deal of the Day. One featured deal plus a set of bonus deals, each with a timer showing when the sale expires. You can sign up for the daily deal by email or text.
- Top Deals. A standing page of current sales by category, from TVs and computers to appliances, gaming and outlet deals. When we read it, the featured offers were seasonal Halloween deals on games and Switch accessories.
- Back to School. A student hub with deals by grade level and college tech by category. Best Buy says some items carry a student discount through coupon codes.
Members see more
My Best Buy Plus and Total members get member prices on popular products and special access to sales and events, according to Best Buy's membership page. The member offers live in your account, so the deals you see signed in may differ from the public price.
How to time a purchase
- Buy when you need it, then watch the price. If Best Buy lowers its own price during your return and exchange period (15 days, or 60 days for paid members), you can ask for the difference.
- Check the Deal of the Day and Top Deals before you check out. They change often.
- For big Black Friday buys, compare Best Buy's price with other stores before Thanksgiving week, since competitor matching pauses then.
