When Kohl's Has Sales in 2026
Kohl's runs short named sale events through the year; in 2025 its Black Friday Week ran seven days, Sunday to Saturday, and 2026 dates are not out yet.

Sale dates change every year. This is a summary in our own words of the press releases in the Kohl's corporate newsroom, read on October 26, 2026. The offers in the Kohl's App and on kohls.com are the ones that apply.
How Kohl's sales work
Kohl's does not keep one long sale season. It announces short, named events of two days to a week, each with its own coupon, Kohl's Cash offer and end date. Between events, Kohl's says its Daily Deals bring new price drops every day in stores, online and in the app.
During many events you earn a set amount of Kohl's Cash for every $50 spent on qualifying items, and you spend it on a later visit within its redemption window. Kohl's Cash is not valid on Sephora at Kohl's.

Kohl's Black Friday: what 2025 looked like
Kohl's October 21, 2026 holiday release gives no Black Friday dates. Until it does, the 2025 schedule shows the pattern, not a promise.

In 2025, Kohl's stretched Black Friday Week to seven days and gave the first 200 shoppers at each store on Black Friday a Kohl's Cash gift worth $5 to $100, while supplies lasted. Stores were closed on Thanksgiving Day, with deals still live on kohls.com.
What Kohl's has said about the 2026 holidays
- Stores will be closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
- Free in-store pickup, with most orders ready in two hours through Christmas Eve.
- Items bought from October 4 to December 30, 2026 can be returned in stores for free through January 31, 2027.
- Klarna is now a payment option, and same-day delivery runs through DoorDash and Instacart, with Uber Eats rolling out in November.
Tips for timing a Kohl's purchase
- Wait for an event with a coupon. The extra percentage off comes from a coupon you present in store or enter online, and exclusions apply.
- Plan the Kohl's Cash. If you buy during an earning event, note when the Kohl's Cash can be spent; it is worth nothing after its window closes.
- Check the newsroom in early November. In 2025, the Black Friday announcement came out on November 7.
