When Nordstrom Has Sales in 2026
The 2026 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale ran July 18 to August 9, with cardmember early access from July 14; the Half-Yearly Sale ran in January and late May.

Sale dates change every year. Nordstrom's own website would not load for us on October 26, 2026, so this page uses Nordstrom's official press release for the Anniversary Sale and, for the other events, reports from news and shopping sites. Those reports are marked as such; confirm dates on nordstrom.com before you plan around them.

When is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
The Anniversary Sale is Nordstrom's big summer event. In its press release of July 6, 2026, Nordstrom set the 2026 sale for July 18 through August 9. Holders of a Nordstrom credit card shopped first, in order of their card status:
- Icon cardmembers: from July 14
- Ambassador cardmembers: from July 15
- Influencer cardmembers: from July 16
Everyone else could shop from July 18. Nordstrom said the 2026 sale had more than 100 brands, over 50 of them new to the event, and its largest print catalog for the sale so far. The release does not give discount percentages, so we do not either. The release did not name 2027 dates; the 2026 timing (mid July into early August) is the best guide until Nordstrom announces them.
When is the Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale?
Nordstrom's own page about this sale did not load for us, so these dates are as reported by outside sites:
- Winter: Good Morning America reported the sale live on January 2, 2026, with up to 60% off across all categories. It gave no end date.
- Spring: Good Morning America reported it running on May 28, 2026, with up to 50% off men's, women's and designer items. BuzzFeed and Wardrobe Oxygen both said it ran through June 1.
None of these sources stated a start date, so plan to check nordstrom.com from late December and from mid May.
Black Friday at Nordstrom
9to5Toys reported Nordstrom's Black Friday week sale as live on November 21, 2025, with up to 60% off thousands of styles across women's, men's, kids', beauty and home. Nordstrom had not announced 2026 Black Friday dates when we checked.
Tips for timing a Nordstrom purchase
- If you hold a Nordstrom card, your tier decides how early you shop the Anniversary Sale.
- Popular sizes go fast during the big events, as 9to5Toys noted for Black Friday 2025.
- A "Half-Yearly" name suggests two events a year, and 2026 had one in winter and one in spring, but always check the current dates.
