Best Buy Store Hours, What Time Best Buy Opens
Best Buy sets hours per store and posts them on each store page; one Minnesota store lists 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., with an earlier close on Sunday.

Store hours change. This is a summary in our own words of Best Buy's store directory, one store page and its Holiday FAQs, read on October 27, 2026. Best Buy does not publish one national schedule: each store page lists its own hours, and that page is the one that applies.
What time does Best Buy open and close?
It depends on the store. Best Buy's holiday help page says some stores keep different hours where local rules or landlords require it, and stores inside malls may follow mall hours. The store directory at stores.bestbuy.com lets you pick your state, then your town, then your store.
As an example of what a store page shows, here are the hours listed on October 27, 2026, for the Best Buy at 1600 County Road 42 W in Burnsville, Minnesota:
| Day | Burnsville, MN store hours |
|---|---|
| Monday to Saturday | 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. |
| Sunday | 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. |
This is one store, not a national rule. Your store may open or close at other times, so check its own page.
How to check Best Buy hours today
- Open the store directory at stores.bestbuy.com and choose your state.
- Pick your town and open your store's page. It shows the next seven days of store hours, with the date beside each day, and a separate tab for Curbside hours.
- The same page lists services at that store, such as Geek Squad, Apple service or Trade-In, and has a link to schedule a service.
Because the store page lists dates, not only weekdays, it is also the place to see changed hours around a holiday.
Holiday hours
Best Buy's Holiday FAQs say many stores open for extended hours during the holiday rush and tell shoppers to check the local store page for the most current hours. The page we read does not give 2026 times for Thanksgiving, Black Friday or Christmas, and we found no 2026 announcement from Best Buy, so we do not list any here. Check your store page in the days before each holiday. For the sale itself, see our Black Friday 2026 dates.
Shopping when the store is closed
Best Buy says BestBuy.com and the Best Buy app are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, with free chat support around the clock. Orders placed online can be picked up later at a store or at the curb at most locations; our store pickup guide explains how.
