Store hours change and vary by club. This is a summary in our own words of a Sam's Club announcement about its hours and of one club's page on SamsClub.com, read on October 27, 2026. Your own club's page on SamsClub.com, or the club finder in the app, is the one that applies.
The standard schedule
In October 2025, Sam's Club announced that most clubs would move to a simplified schedule of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day, starting October 12, 2025. The first hour is for Plus members only.
| Who | Hours at most clubs |
|---|---|
| Plus members | 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., every day |
| All members | 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., every day |
The club page we checked, Dover, Delaware, showed exactly that on October 27, 2026: club hours Monday to Sunday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Plus early hours Monday to Sunday 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. The page added that holiday hours may vary.
Plus early hours
Early Shopping is a Plus benefit on the Sam's Club join page. Plus costs $120 a year, against $60 for Club, and the announcement calls the first hour exclusive early access for Plus. If you like to shop before the crowds, the early hour is one of the clearer differences between the two levels. See our Sam's Club membership article for the rest.
Department hours
Not every part of the club keeps the same hours. On the Dover club page:
| Department | Hours |
|---|---|
| Pharmacy | Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., closed Sunday |
| Sam's Café | Every day, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. |
| Fuel station | Every day, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. |
| Auto and Tires | Monday to Saturday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. |
These are one club's hours. The October 2025 announcement gave matching Sunday hours for most clubs: café 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and fuel 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., with Curbside Pickup from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Other clubs, and services such as optical and hearing aid centers, can differ, so check your club's page.
Holidays
The same October 2025 announcement described Sam's Club's holiday pattern:
| Holiday | Clubs |
|---|---|
| Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, New Year's Eve | Open until 8 p.m. |
| Christmas Eve | Close at 6 p.m. |
| Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Easter | Closed |
Sam's Club had not published a separate 2026 holiday schedule on the pages we read, and it says club hours may vary on holidays. Treat the table as the pattern it announced, and confirm with your club before a holiday trip.
How to find your club's hours
- Open the Club Directory or club finder on SamsClub.com, or set your club in the app.
- Choose your state and club.
- Read the Club hours and the Plus early hours, then open each service, such as pharmacy or tires, for its own hours.
