BJ's Coupon Policy, Explained
Unlike Costco and Sam's Club, BJ's accepts manufacturer coupons and lets you pair one with a BJ's coupon on the same item, as news sites report.

Does BJ's take manufacturer coupons?
Yes, as reported. Tasting Table (August 2026), Chowhound (November 2025) and Mashed (July 2026) all say BJ's accepts manufacturers' coupons, such as those from newspaper inserts, which sets it apart from Costco and Sam's Club among the big warehouse clubs. Chowhound notes that these coupons mostly cover name-brand items.
Stacking coupons
All three sources say you can pair a manufacturer coupon with BJ's own coupons or deals. The finer rules below are as Mashed reports them:

Tasting Table adds that shoppers face limits on the type and number of coupons they can use, without giving the figures.
Digital coupons must be clipped
Mashed says BJ's digital coupons only work once you add them to your membership account, which BJ's calls clipping. If you skip that step, you pay full price even for the right item. Clipless coupons, by contrast, apply on their own, though Mashed warns that this does not always happen, so watch your receipt.
If you use ExpressPay, BJ's scan-and-go checkout in its app, Mashed says only digital coupons you clipped in the app work; paper coupons do not.
Other limits to know
- Each coupon can carry its own fine print, and Mashed says BJ's may enforce it.
- Some products have purchase limits set by the maker or by stock. Signs in the club show them for select items, and online carts show a maximum.
Tips for using coupons at BJ's
- Clip BJ's digital coupons in the app or on BJs.com before you shop.
- Bring one manufacturer coupon per item and check that the total stays under the price.
- Use a regular register, not ExpressPay, if you have paper coupons.
- Ask at the membership desk if a coupon does not scan.
