The Dick's Sporting Goods website could not be read when we checked on October 27, 2026: it returned a block page instead of its ScoreCard terms. The earning rate below is confirmed in a Dick's press release; the other rules are as reported by Youth Sports Business Report (July 1, 2026) and the loyalty software firm Rivo (October 19, 2026), which agree with each other. Confirm the current terms in the Dick's app or with customer service before you plan around them.

Free ScoreCard: the basics

ScoreCard is free to join. Members earn 1 point for every dollar spent at Dick's in stores and online, a rate Dick's itself repeated in its November 13, 2025 holiday press release.

FeatureAs reported
Earning1 point per dollar
First reward$5 after 150 points (since July 1, 2026)
Free shippingOrders of $49 or more
Gold status$500 or more spent in a year
Gold perks$10 annual award, one 3x points purchase, a dedicated service line
MOVE activity pointsUp to 3 points a day

Youth Sports Business Report says the first reward used to be $10 at 300 points before the July 2026 change. Rivo notes that the written terms still describe rewards at 300 points for $10, so check which applies to your account.

MOVE pays points for activity tracked on a connected fitness tracker: walking or running 3 miles, reaching 10,000 steps, or logging 30 minutes of activity. Both sources say it caps at 3 points a day.

Since July 2026, Dick's services such as glove steaming, restringing, bike repairs, all-sport cages, climbing walls, clinics and golf simulators also earn points, according to Youth Sports Business Report.

ScoreCard+: the paid tier

Dick's launched ScoreCard+ on July 1, 2026. Both sources report the same package:

ScoreCard+ featureAs reported
Price$99 a year
Quarterly rewards$25 each quarter, $100 a year
ShippingFree standard shipping on most orders
Free service or experienceOne a year, worth up to $100
Services discount20% off
Bonus3x points on one purchase a year

Rivo adds that the membership renews on its own unless you cancel, that the 20% services discount is capped at $30 per service, and that free shipping leaves out oversized and overweight items.

The math is simple: the $100 in quarterly rewards covers the $99 fee only if you spend every one of them. Rivo reports the quarterly rewards expire 90 days after they are issued, so a member who forgets one quarter is behind before any other perk counts.

The Dick's credit card

Both sources say the Dick's credit card, relaunched in May, gives automatic Gold status and is marketed as 10% back in rewards on qualifying purchases. Rivo explains that the card earns 3 points per dollar in total, which Dick's presents as the 10% figure.

Expiration

According to Rivo, points that have not turned into a reward expire one year after you earn them, and standard rewards carry an expiration date at least 60 days after they are issued. Use rewards early rather than saving them.
