Teacher, Nurse and First Responder Discounts by Store

Store programs change. This is a summary in our own words of each store's own discount page, read on October 26, 2026. The store's page is the one that applies; check it before you buy.

The list at a glance

"Not listed" means the store's own pages we read name no such program, not that one could never appear.

Teacher discounts

• Nike. Teachers, faculty and administrators at accredited K-12 schools and universities in the US get 10% off most items. You must be a Nike Member, and you verify through SheerID with your school email address. If asked for proof, Nike wants a school document showing the school, your name and the current school year, such as a dated ID card or a pay stub from the last 90 days.
• Apple. Any employee of a public or private K-12 school in the US or Puerto Rico can buy at Education Pricing, homeschool teachers included, plus serving school board members and PTA or PTO officers. Faculty and staff of colleges qualify too. Apple limits how many of each product you can buy at that price per year, for example one MacBook and two iPads.
• Samsung. Teachers, administrators and other educators join the Education Offer Program with a .edu email on a Samsung Account, or through ID.me.
• Microsoft Store. The education discount covers K-12 and higher education faculty as well as students and parents, on select products only. Digital games, apps, subscriptions and gift cards are left out.

Nurse and medical discounts

Nike lists doctors, nurses, technicians and medical researchers among those who qualify for its 10% discount. Medical staff may need to upload a document with their name and current medical license.

Samsung has a separate healthcare worker program for doctors, nurses and other healthcare staff. You create a Samsung Account first, then verify through ID.me.

First responder discounts

Nike's first responder group includes EMTs, firefighters and law enforcement. Proof, if asked, is a document with your name, your organization and your status.

Samsung's first responder offers cover medical professionals, police and firefighters, again through ID.me. Samsung says its offer programs as a whole save up to 30%.

How the Nike code works

Nike's teacher program and its first responder and medical program share the same rules. After verification you get a single-use code for 10% off, valid for two weeks. You can get a new code every seven days. The code applies to the first $500 of a purchase and excludes Nike By You, gift cards and some launch products. Neither program works in Nike stores.

Tips before you buy

1. Verify before you check out; every program here needs a status check first.
2. Read the exclusions. Gift cards are excluded at Nike and Microsoft.
3. Compare with sale prices. A store sale may beat a fixed 10%.
