Ulta Coupon Policy, Explained
Ulta coupons do not stack with each other, online orders take one code, and many prestige brands are excluded, but rewards points can be added.

Store policies change. This is a summary in our own words of the coupon sections of Ulta Beauty's Guest Services page, read on October 26, 2026. The official page and the fine print on each coupon are what apply; check them before you shop.
Can you stack Ulta coupons?
No. Ulta's general coupon terms say a coupon cannot be combined with any other Ulta Beauty coupon offer, and the limit is one per customer. Online, only one coupon code goes on each order, and each code works once.
Rewards points are different. Ulta's rewards FAQ says points can be combined with other discounts and special offers, so you can use a coupon and redeem points in the same purchase. The one exception it names is online orders paid with Afterpay.

What coupons usually exclude
Ulta warns that most brands and items work with its coupons, but a list of exclusions generally applies. The standard list covers:
- Salon, ear piercing, Skin Bar and Benefit Brow Bar services
- Fragrance and prestige brands of cosmetics, haircare, skincare and bath
- CHANEL, N°1 DE CHANEL, BEYONCÉ PARFUMS and Dyson
- Early Black Friday Deals, Black Friday Deals, multi-buy deals like 5 for $5 and 5 for $10, Beauty Steals, Beauty Deals and clearance
Ulta keeps a full list of excluded brands and says it can change without notice. On ulta.com, excluded items are marked in the shopping basket, which is the quickest way to see whether a coupon will apply.
Where Ulta coupons do not work
Ulta coupons are not valid on UB Marketplace products, on Ulta Beauty purchases through TikTok Shop or other third-party marketplaces, on Replenish and Save orders, or outside the United States. Some in-store coupons cannot be used online and the reverse is also true.
How to use a coupon
- On ulta.com or the app: add items to your bag, enter the code in the coupon field and apply it. A valid code shows its discount in the basket.
- In a store: show the coupon at the time of purchase, within its dates.
- Forgot the code online? Ulta says you do not need to cancel; contact Guest Services instead.
Coupons and returns
Ulta will not apply a coupon to an earlier purchase, and it says you may not return items just to buy them again with a coupon or points. When you do return something, discounts and coupons from the original sale are prorated and taken off the refund, and single-use coupons are not given back. The credit card offer
Ulta advertises 20% off the first purchase with a new Ulta Beauty Rewards credit card. Its coupon terms note that UB Marketplace products are excluded from that first-purchase discount.
