Lowe's Coupon Policy, Explained
Lowe's promo codes go in the Promotional Code box at checkout, each offer sets its own limits, and whether two discounts combine depends on the offer.

Store policies change. This is a summary in our own words of the Coupons page and the MyLowe's Rewards page on Lowes.com, read on October 27, 2026. Lowe's does not publish one long coupon rulebook there; the terms printed on each offer are the ones that apply, so read them before you count on a discount.
The short version
Lowe's offers coupons and promo codes on eligible purchases, and the offers change over time. Every offer can carry its own list of eligible products, a minimum purchase, an expiration date and other limits. Lowe's also warns that some promotions differ between Lowes.com and Lowe's stores, so a code that works online may not work at a register, and the other way around.
How to use a Lowe's promo code online
Lowe's lists these steps on its Coupons page:
- Find an offer that covers the products you want.
- Read the offer details: eligible items, minimum spend, end date and restrictions.
- Add the qualifying items to your cart.
- Type the code into the Promotional Code box in the cart and select Apply.
- Check that the savings show up before you finish checkout.
When a code does not work
Lowe's says to check the spelling first, then the offer itself: an expired code, a cart under the minimum, or items outside the eligible products or categories will all stop a code from applying. Because some offers are online only or store only, also check where the offer is valid.
Can you combine Lowe's coupons?
Lowe's answer is that it depends on the offer. Some coupons and promotions cannot be combined with other discounts, so the terms of each promotion decide. Two printed rules show how this works in practice:
| Discount | What Lowe's terms say about stacking |
|---|---|
| MyLowe's Money (rewards) | Can be used with discounts, offers or coupons; up to 5 per transaction, applied after other discounts, coupons, taxes and fees |
| 5% off with the MyLowe's Rewards Credit Card | Cannot be used with other promotions, coupons, the Military Discount or the Lowest Price Guarantee, among others |
Where Lowe's coupons come from
The Coupons page points to several places to look for current offers:
- The Coupons page itself, which lists current offers.
- Your MyLowe's Rewards account, where members see member offers and member gifts. When we checked, the Lowes.com header advertised $5 off $50 for joining the program, with terms.
- The Weekly Ad for your local store, and Daily Deals online.
- Seasonal events Lowe's names, such as Black Friday, Cyber Monday, 4th of July, Labor Day, spring promotions and Pro Savings Days.
Savings that are not coupons
Lowe's also lists ways to save without a code: everyday deals, the Rebate Center, Bulk Savings on qualifying quantities, Lowe's Subscriptions with 5% off eligible items and free shipping, the Lowest Price Guaranteed price match, and the Military Discount for eligible active-duty service members, veterans and their spouses. Each has its own terms and exclusions.
Expiration dates
Validity periods vary by offer. Lowe's says to read the terms of each coupon or promo code for its end date, purchase requirements and product exclusions.
